24 of the most eager learners walk into my door everyday. History is such a fascinating subject with so much to teach and learn. Students and teachers alike can be overwhelmed with dates and names. By providing the students with material that provides the opportunity to write critically, think actively, and engage in group learning while mastering the standards set forth, it becomes a win-win situation for all. It is difficult to integrate subject areas when there is so much material to be taught...this resource does an amazing job at incorporating math, science, reading and language arts into amazing lessons that teach all about the history of America including: Native Americans, Early Explorers, The American Revolution, American Government, Landforms and Regions,and Westward Expansion.
