Having a 1:1 tablet ratio in my classroom will allow my students to be more independent in their learning. We need 16 Fire 7 Tablets. Apps like Raz kids will help them read books at their level consistently (When kids do this they move up in their reading levels 2x faster in my classroom). Math applications like IXL will help them work on their math fluency so that they can reach the same standards as other kids their age. Because my classroom is full of so many levels, they need time to have learning catered exactly to their needs, which tablet time will help them with. Right now we do not have the materials we need and having this project funded will mean confidence and success for my students, something that can be hard for them to come by.
