I believe that students, especially middle school students, want the power of control. They are at an age where they are figuring out who they are and want nothing more than to decide for themselves what choices they'll make. Flexible seating gives kids this power. The simple option to be comfortable while learning, makes class time more enjoyable, more engaging, and more effective. Creating lifelong readers is one of the goals of my teaching practice. With your help in funding my project, I will be more successful in my effort to achieve this goal. I have chosen 6 Neorok Soft Stools where learners can wobble and wiggle while they read and write. --More oxygen to the brain will surely keep my students alert. I have also chosen 2 beanbag chairs for comfort and productivity.
