"Students who are technologically competent are able to use technology to analyze, learn, and explore." I have such a unique group of third graders (socially, behaviorally, emotionally, and academically). They come to school everyday excited and ready to give all that they possibly have. Our classroom does not have any desktop computers and the few roaming Chromebooks we have go to our 5th and 6th grade students. I do not have any other form of technology to provide for my eager to learn students. Not having that technology in the classroom hinders my ability to expose them to and provide them with as much technology skills as I can before the end of the year. We are a district that strives for 21st Century Skills and a school (classroom) that is in need of the materials to achieve those goals. My students will grow tremendously when we start providing them with the tools they need to be successful.
