My students are enrolled in a Title I school. Many of our students are minority students from low-income, single parent homes. Over 60% of our students receive free or reduced meals. Despite these hardships, our students really strive to do their best in school. With budget cuts, getting the necessary materials to help them become better, independent learners becomes difficult.
