Accessing the webinars from the ASHA Schools Connect conference will directly impact the work I do with my students on a day-to-day basis. School-based Speech Language Pathologists are constantly coming up with new and more effective ways of promoting communication skills in non-communicative student populations. This professional development opportunity will immensely improve my ability to provide my students with the most up to date services. Additionally, I will be able to provide my support staff with the tools I will learn to create efficiency and sustainability with each new practice and evidence-based strategy. With your help, my students will be engaged with higher level thinking skills, in depth communication activities, and my school will benefit from an increase in understanding on the speech-related issues that are among the most innovative currently in the nation.
