In our kindergarten classroom, students are respected as learners and are given the opportunity to learn in ways that work best for them. If you walk into our classroom, you'll see some students working at their tables on worksheets while other students are laying on the floor creating a book to showcase their learning. Other students may be sitting in our classroom library area looking at books together while other students may be on their computers working on games and lessons matched to their learning needs. You'll often find me circulating around the room to support students in their individual learning, or you'll find me calling students over to work with me on reading, writing, and math lessons.
