My school is located in a high poverty area. Many of them don't have much exposure to technology and how it is used in the academic world and this is what I'm trying to change. My students live in a small town where everyone knows one another and as a result, I find they are very good at collaborating with one another. They are very comfortable working in groups on projects and laboratory assignments, they just need to learn how to collaborate using technology from the 21st century.
