My students are from a small community in rural Indiana. Our school educates students in grades three through six. There are approximately one hundred students in each grade level. We are fortunate to be in our first year of full 1:1 iPad implementation. This year, I have twenty four fourth-grade students who are eager to learn and grow. We transitioned from teams last year to self-contained classrooms this year, so I am thrilled to be able to spend all day with these students. A benefit of this setup is that it allows me to create more cross-curricular connections and learning opportunities. Our class is quickly growing into a tight-knit community.
