My students are vibrant, energetic children who love to share their lives with me! They enjoy spending one-on-one reading conference time with me as their teacher because they often do not have that experience at home. My students have very diverse needs and challenges. Some have no books at home to enjoy, so the only time they can read is at school. Others have access to books, but they are neither high quality or at their reading level. However, despite facing many challenges, our students rise to our high expectations!
