My school is a wonderful example of what CAN be done and can be accomplished as a school and as learners! We are considered a "low income" public charter school - with a focus on STEM resources. From day 1 of kindergarten, we teach the WHOLE child (this includes social-emotional learning, integrity, and a drive to grow and improve). "We have some of the best schools in the country. Our students are outperforming kids across our cities and states. And they’re going on to college to become whatever they dream of." I am a kindergarten teacher as well as a kindergarten special educator. I teach in an ICT classroom with some of the most amazing, kind, and brilliant little kiddos in the world! They would benefit GREATLY from having more resources for them to regulate emotions, express themselves, and let out energy. Most of the time, all of the materials and resources my kiddos have are purchased by me. Going back and forth from teaching in person to teaching remotely has been challenging for my 5 years olds, but they have worked so hard! I am looking to provide my kiddos with electronic resources to make learning more engaging inside and outside of the classroom. Please consider these kinder kiddos! Mrs. Masse
