Every day in school or at home, our students watch the Principal and Assistant Principal give the morning announcements every day in a world where they have, already are, or want to be creating online content.  With this project, our students will be able to take over the morning announcements and give the ALL-STAR REPORT a more upbeat, youthful, eccentric streaming telecast. The students will be able use their voice, be exposed to innovative technology, and create an atmosphere of skillful communication. The students will be able to use the tablet mount and tripod to hold the iPad to film the morning announcements. This is teaching the student camera operations and filming technique.  The microphone will be used to enhance the sound quality of the students that are communicating the morning announcements.  These resources, in conjunction with the tools we have here at the school, will give the students the opportunity to explore communication pathways.   When describing the community which our students come from they are viewed as: economically disadvantaged, high poverty, and underprivileged. However, in the school building we see bright, imaginative, hilarious, intelligent, and trend-setting leaders, because that is who they truly are.  With the All-Star report team we are setting up future college and career paths for these students.  Supplying them with the tools and resources, they can continue to build upon their knowledge for their own future.
