Over the last few months, I have attended multiple workshops about interactive notebooks. I have fallen in love with the concept and I know my kids would as well. Interactive notebooks help students process information, as well as study/review for upcoming assessments. The graphic organizers in interactive notebooks help students chunk information and make it easier for them to process. Interactive notebooks give students ownership of their learning. By offering students choice, they are more motivated to learn. Interactive notebooks are also beneficial to the classroom teacher. These notebooks provide teachers with an organizational tool for their lessons, encouraging the use of different types of lessons, and can be helpful when planning lessons that cater to multiple types of learning styles. By donating to our project, you will be providing my students with the materials they need to create these valuable learning tools.
