We live in a small rural area with a population of about 600. My second grade students have a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. Some students have the ability to use technology at home and others have no access. I would like to give students an equal opportunity in our classroom. We started an on-line discussion in our classroom and so far this year my students have posted over 370 comments from school and home. We have also created our own research based power point presentations. My students are very excited about the ability to engage with technology.
