I teach a wide variety of students in a Title 1 school with limited resources. I recognize that my students are active and love to learn as long as they are engaged in what they are learning, textbooks typically do not provide that for my second grade students. My students require me to stay on my toes and to provide instruction in creative ways in order to keep their attention.
