My group of third grade students are in the stage of leaving the "primary" age and becoming independent learners. Our school strives to teach students to become self-managers which means they will "show respect, make good decisions, and solve problems". This is the foundational core of my classroom's norms. I expect all students to behave by these guidelines. All though my classroom is made of diverse learners, all with their own needs in different ways, my students will raise themselves to the expectations of a lover of learning, and a self-manager in the best way that they can.

About my class
