I teach in a very poor district in Pennsylvania. Many of my students don't even have the money for pencil cases. They are grateful for anything that they are given. When someone donates to the classroom, it allows them to close the gap between what they have and what they need. Right now, I am trying to build a classroom that they can be proud of and have fun in.
