Our 6th grade ELA classroom will be in a portable with laminate flooring and basic furniture. I want to make a space available for students to have flexible seating for comfort during independent reading. Students need the opportunity to get caught up in a book without losing their reading stamina due to discomfort. For most students, they cannot endure long amounts of time sitting in hard chairs at a desk and try to stay focused on their reading. We need three rugs that can provide a space for students to curl up with a good book and get lost in their reading!

About my class
