Welcome to "The Journey"! My 7th grade Reading class is on a learning journey through middle school!! This year my Reading classes consist of a combination of English Language Learners, New Comers to the US with little or no English, Special education inclusion with learners below grade level by at least 2 academic years, and the general on grade level student. I also have a high population of students that are on free or reduced lunch. I strive to provide a comfortable, interactive, safe, and engaging environment for my kiddos to explore the world, both "old school" through books and through technology. Our class is a dynamic community of middle school learners of diverse cultural, ethnic and economic backgrounds, who strive to find our place in this world as individuals and as part of the world community through reading, writing, technolgy and discovery learning.
