Flexible seating has been proven to encourage students in the classroom with it comes to collaboration and participation. It also allows my students the flexibility to move around while also being on task and productive to complete work and assignments. Having flexible seating will also increase attendance and motivate my students to WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL and remain in the classroom as opposed to the office. The materials I have requested will be made available to all students and every week students will have an opportunity to use flexible seating options during small group instruction. The portable lap stands will also be beneficial for students who like to work in quiet areas of the classroom by providing them with a stand for the chromebook and materials opposed to having their items on the floor. Help our dream of flexible seating come to life!
