The whiteboard easel will enhance my small group instruction and help facilitate classroom discussions. My classroom portable only has one whiteboard at the front of the room that is not magnetic. My students would benefit from the whiteboard easel so that they can follow along with written directions in different parts of the classroom, practice small group work, and differentiate during rotations. The small group teaching will help students that may need more scaffolding or a small group setting in order to learn in a way that is more suited to them. Students will have the ability to display their work and illustrate their thinking. Magnetic pockets could be used on the easel to help students organize their papers, manipulatives, and lesson resources.
