What's not a secret is that our classroom is full of digital learners. My 30 students are kindergarten and first graders who are at the beginning of their educational journey. They have an uninhibited passion for learning and are continually turning in 'extra credit' such as stories and pictures. My students are creative writers and illustrators who want to share their stories with the world. They are inspired by stories of the published authors we read from and will often form similar stories to what we read in class.
