Texts of choice will always beat out the texts of assignment! My kids need books they'll be more likely to choose to support the curriculum I'm teaching! From the Revolutionary War to igneous rocks to the regions of SC, our kids need to have fun while being engaged in learning! My students are obsessed with learning about rocks and with these materials they'll become geologists themselves! Those that are unable to read on grade level will have just-right books that are specifically chosen to meet their literary needs! Students can read these materials in literature circles and delve into their content with so much more enthusiasm!
