I am a 5th grade teacher in an economically disadvantaged school district. We have over 90% Hispanic student population, and most of those students come from homes where only Spanish is spoken. They are amazing kids, and I know that despite many disadvantages, they have the potential to go so far in life. They are hard workers. They are inquisitive. They love to be challenged. We love to use technology in our classroom, and we love love to read. They are eager to absorb knowledge about things with which they are not familiar. I am excited to raise funds to give them a better classroom environment.

About my class
