Due to the unforeseen times, I am currently teaching my students virtually. In Adapted Physical Education, we often use a variety of equipment to help students meet their annual goals. I work in a low socioeconomic area where families may not have the means to purchase the equipment my students would often use while at school. My students work on a variety of skills in the areas of social, perceptual-motor, manipulative, locomotor, physical fitness, balance, and coordination. I work with each student individually, focusing on their needs, while modifying and adapting physical activities. The equipment will be given to each student to use at home so they can continue to work on their annual goals while receiving the best Physical Education experience while at home.
