These iPads will increase student engagement and put ownership in their hands. Technology is such a big part of so many kiddos lives these days and the classroom should be no exception. Increasing student ownership, increases student drive which increases student learning. Students want to see their work, have their work be seen and see what their peers are working on. By giving them the ability to showcase their work, we are giving them the ability to have pride and take responsibility for their own learning. I want my classroom to be a place where the technology matches what my students are seeing in the real world. Those connections are what tie the technology to the classroom and to their homes.
