From the dawn of time, students have been fascinated by the people who educate them. Unfortunately, the past two years the teacher-student relationship has been affected by both hybrid learning and remote learning. It is incredibly difficult to get to know someone through a computer screen. This project will help build student-teacher relationships by allowing students to record conversations with their favorite or most impactful teachers. We will learn proper interview skills and formulate questions that build our understanding of trusted teachers. What made them choose a career in education? What is their most/least favorite part of the job? Any fun stories to share? Any advice for students? The Samson Q2U microphones plug in to the Zoom Podtrak P4 and the interviews will be recorded on the SD Card. The audio will be processed using free online software, and the students will have a record.
