I teach English II, sophomores, at Albany High School. Albany is a small rural community in Southeastern Louisiana. We are centrally located between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. We are a 100% free lunch school. Within our school we support a strong sense of family which spills over to the community. Within the walls of my classroom I implement flexible seating to encourage that sense of family and ensure that students are comfortable as they learn. Students know that within the walls of room 301 they are encouranged, motivated, supported, and most of all, loved.
