100% receive free/reduced lunch. The pandemic has really negatively impacted the most vulnerable students. The students at this school live well below the poverty line, and resources are desperately needed. Many students are second language learners. Some have been or currently are, homeless. As the Media Specialist, I have a unique opportunity to reach all the students through storytelling and technology infused lessons. Sadly, we don't have devices for the students in the Learning Commons. I would love students as young as Kindergarten to learn to code, and become safe and responsible technology experts. The students would really enjoy creating original projects after researching a topic. Please help me, help them to shine!
