My 27 first graders come from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and differing educational support systems. My first graders love to be actively engaged in their learning and participate in building their educational foundation. The students in my classroom have varying educational needs. Our school community consists of 920 K-5 students from Phoenix, Arizona and surrounding communities who bring a plethora of different cultures and backgrounds.
