With the necessary materials to successfully implement learning tubs and trays in my classroom, students will always have something to do within arm's reach. They will have instant access to 150 different hands-on activities that focus on 10 foundational skills. These skills relate to colors, the alphabet, counting, numbers, phonics, sounds, patterns, shapes, cvc words, and rhyming. Learning tubs and trays will allow me to work with small groups of students who need individualized instruction. They will provide early finishers with something to do. They will be available to students once they finish eating breakfast each day. By having these in my classroom, students can practice all of the skills related to all of the topics listed above while developing fine motor skills. They will feel successful because they will be able to complete these activities completely on their own after a brief introduction.
