I am a special education teacher in a school district with a high poverty rate, which means that our district does not have the funds to allow us to purchase "extras" for our classrooms. As a special eduacation teacher it is my goal to give every student with special needs access to the general education curriculum. I have the philosophy that every child learns in their own way, on their own day.
