These items will help me foster a classroom climate that students can feel secure in walking through the door. The materials requested will allow for better organization, structure, and engagement, thus creating a more suitable learning environment. As an ELA teacher, it is my goal to have an inclusive classroom library that my students can connect with and feel like they are represented in our classroom community. My diverse student population would benefit from a classroom environment that they can count on to be a safe, structured, and inclusive place for learning. These items are the start of creating that learning environment in which my students can thrive.
