My students have missed many learning opportunities over this school year due to remote learning and lack of field trips. These students with special needs learn best through hands on activities. By bringing caterpillars into the classroom their learning can go beyond the books and they will truly immerse in a phenomenal metamorphic experience. Learning about the butterfly life cycle will also help them connect to changes they will go through as they grow and learn. Science is not a subject that should be read about, it should be experienced, seen up close, and help you soar into learning.
