My students are kids with difficulties learning at the pace of a general education room. The disabilities I work with range from autism to general lack of focus with ADHD. My students like to be active and on their feet while learning. Some of my best lessons are when they get to move around the room and act out an idiom instead of just reading about what they are. Like many schools, we also have to take standardized tests. My students will sometimes get anxious and want to fidget during those tests. My school is a wonderful place to learn and grow. We have great teachers and students. Not only we we have a great staff, but we also have great support in the community. Most of our students are on free and reduced lunches and come from a lower socioeconomic background.
