My students are very active and the usual activities don't keep them occupied. So after doing a lot of research, I decided to have them work in interactive notebooks for each of our subject areas. That will allow them to write, draw, and create as we learn in 1st grade. I thought of many options but the best one was to use 3-prong folders in different colors to represent each subject with lined paper inside and stickers to create their work. They will be able to make different things to help them better understand phonics, vocabulary, reading strategies, math strategies, and all sorts of writing ideas. I can't wait to go with this project and I know my students will be so excited to use these as well!
