We are a classroom of 21 students with a lot of energy! Students in our class are very kind but don't know what to do with all the energy that is bundled up and it becomes a behavior issue for themselves and others. Having an additional learning space such as the carpet rug, will allow them to quickly get their wiggles out and stay focused. They will have less things to distract their learning, and will have enough space on the rug to not feel squished. The easel will allow me to teach at their level while at the carpet. I will have all the materials needed with the use of tubs so I will be able to use my "focused time" wisely and effectively.
