Sitting under fluorescent lights for hours a day can be straining on anyone's eyes, especially when you are reading and looking at an iPad screen. With the addition of the fluorescent light covers, the classroom will automatically be more welcoming for the students. Classroom environment is so important when you are asking students to challenge themselves and dream big! I am continually working to create a space where students feel welcome and comfortable. We work hard, dream big, and have fun in our classroom everyday. I see that students are more successful when they feel comfortable in the classroom and have choice. Student choice in books is extremely important in order to foster a love for reading. I am constantly adding new books to my classroom library in order to excite students with new texts to read. The students faces light up when I introduce new books into our classroom library! I chose books that will help them to understand the journey to success and spark imagination in their minds. All of the materials will help our classroom run smoothly, feel comfortable, and plan a bright future.
