I feel that students need to be given as much choice as possible. In a typical classroom students are not given a lot of opportunities to chose what they will be doing, or even how they will be doing it. Flexible seating gives the students the chance to pick what works best for them. By giving students choice, you are giving them a leg up in learning. I want to let my students choose between a standard chair, a wobble stool, or a yoga ball. These are choices that will allow students to not only decide how to sit, but some of these options will allow students to also slightly move around to further assist in their concentration.
