In order to help students be more engaged with their note-taking, we have started creating an interactive notebook where students cut, paste, and draw their notes in a spiral notebook. Long gone are the days of PowerPoint and lecture only notes! With these scissors, glue, rulers, and coloring utensils, students will be able to personalize their notes to help them better grasp the materials being taught. This notebook allows the students to keep all important information in one spot, and makes them think about the content in a unique way. Their notes consist of folding tabs, matching key ideas, and doodles make connections.
