This will be my first year teaching within the Monticello School district. I am so excited to start my 10th year of teaching. 6th grade English is not only a transition from elementary school but is a hard year for students to learn who they are and where they belong. Being an excited new teacher within the district, I have decided to go with a totally new classroom theme that I have ever done before!! Mrs. Cox's "Farmhouse". This theme will give the students a more "home" like learning environment. With your help, I would like to make this classroom like no other. Flexible seating, organizational, effective, and just like home. I cannot wait to update class photos this summer!!
