There are many students in my classroom that struggle with attentiveness and the ability to maintain focus. We are often up and moving around the room to break up long periods of sitting. I use many different learning strategies during the day; group work, partner work, etc. Flexible seating options will only further my student's learning by taking away any bodily distractions a student may have. Flexible seating options will allow for my students needs to be met daily. The seating options will be used in rotation to see which seating option meets the needs of what student. In the light of COVID-19, the ability for students to maintain focus has worsened because of the inconsistency of being in the classroom.
