I am requesting a Oculus virtual reality headset to enhance my students' education by providing them with memorable and immersive experiences that would otherwise not be possible. Virtual reality will be accessible to every student and can be easily monitored. Virtual experiences have the power to engage and inspire students in a unique and powerful way. My students will be able to explore geographical locations, go on virtual field trips, bring science to life, and watch the stories we read in class come to life. I can give my students the opportunity to explore the world outside of their extremely limited community. My students are always excited to learn new technology based learning methods and I believe this would be a great opportunity to implement that. Most of my students have yet to visit anywhere other than school due to the poverty level in the community. My hope is to grant them the ability to see the outside world! Each student will be able to engage in new ways to practice, explore and learn with the resources offered by Teachers Pay Teachers Access. Worksheets from Teachers Pay Teachers are an effective tool in ongoing efforts encouraging my students to engage their brains during class. Worksheets used in class can also help direct students' learning out-of-class.
