My students are a diverse group of 7th graders. Middle schoolers present a unique challenge, as they are beginning to find themselves and discover who and what they wish to become "someday." It is a true pleasure to observe them along this journey and guide them in any way I can. I hope my students learn a lot from me, but I know I learn much more from my students. I teach in a rural school in Northwest Iowa with approximately 1,380 PK-12 students. Our school is undergoing a lot of positive changes and staff are continuously working to improve educational opportunities for all students.
