My first year of teaching was full of learning experiences! I was lucky to have a few wobble stools in the room I moved into and the kids VIED for those regularly! Unfortunately, I have to leave those stools behind and going into my 2nd year, I want to have those same options and MORE for my kiddos to eliminate that excess or pent-up energy that so often gets in the way of learning! Wobble stools, bouncy bands, and floor desks will give them PLENTY of options to make it through a rigorous 7 hour school day. This will curb behaviors, get rid of extra, sometimes uncontrollable energy, and make students of all abilities comfortable in their own classroom (home away from home)!
