As a first year teacher, I strive to create interactive transdisciplinary lessons to meet the academic needs of all my students. I am requesting a color printer, replacement ink, and paper, which will allow me to create a variety of differentiated centers, labeled bins, and hard copies of student artwork, ELA and social studies projects, and more! The printer will also help me bridge the gap between home and school by allowing me to provide a printed copy of our weekly newsletter to families without internet access and lessons for my students that are quarantined and learning from home. My classroom also needs a quality pencil sharpener and pencils so students can unplug from their digital assignments and practice writing. These materials will help to supplement my lessons with more engaging visuals, and be proactive in my students' academic success.
