To help teachers all around the world, sites and companies have invested money and time to find ways to effectively teach kids in this new digital age. Khan Academy, Study Island, Flipgrid and many other websites are inspiring kids all around the world to learn and love math. Students can only access these sites if they have some type of computer, tablet, or Ipad. I love to teach a lesson and then access one of these sites to help students understand mathematical concepts in their style of learning. I love to have the data from these sites that are constantly assessing students input. This is very efficient and not time consuming. My student population is increasing and it is getting harder to manually assess student levels. These sites automatically assess levels for us and help teachers pinpoint students that are struggling. Teachers can assign additional work as well as work one on one with students that would have otherwise fall through the cracks and be left behind academically.
