My students are eager second graders from a suburban community. They are a diverse group which includes students with many learning challenges. Some of my students struggle with learning disabilities, autism, homelessness, second languages, and emotional behavioral challenges. However, that has not hindered their joy of learning or their love for an engaging lesson. This has become an inspiration for me as a teacher this year. Multimedia learning has been a hook and makes them shine like gold. My students attend a K-5 Elementary School which has a 41% population of free and reduced lunch. My students are supported daily by Learning Disability teachers, aides, Guidance Staff, and some days Physical Therapists, or Speech Therapists. My students make our classroom a fabulous place to be. With their high ambitions will soar.
