I am one of two 5th grade teachers in my school. I teach math and science to 50 students each day of varied abilities. 99% of my students are military dependents, with one or both parents serving in the US Army. We are a title 1 campus with 95% of our students qualifying for free or reduced lunches. Despite all of these challenges our students score well above average on the state tests each year.
