What are sensory task boxes? Essentially, they are activities aligned to a students' learning and transition goals neatly packed into a bin. Each bin will provide a students with task or skill. Since individuals with Special Needs tend to be visual learners who thrive on routine and order, task boxes offer an effective strategy to teach and build upon important life skills. Each bin will include sensory activities that will also help the student achieve their educational goals. Students will be able to learn in a way that is truly beneficial to them. Hands on learning is the only way some of my students can find success. Please help them. It Makes Sense!
